We hooked up with Ironlak and local artists Dr Dose, Ling, Heesco, Shem, Steve Cross, Simple Sime & Porno to repaint a fresh mural during the VIC BAR’s “Park St. Party”

Park St Party is a day time block party (12pm-8pm outside, 12pm-1am in venues) with live graffiti (7 artists, blasting a 25m wall all day), outdoor bar, pop up kitchen with the boys from Bao and stage with line up of DJs and MCs.

The World’s premier live illustration battle is based in Los Angeles and Park St Party is joining forces with Secret Walls for the 2018 edition by hosting the Melbourne date of their World Tour. Secret Walls is an iconic event in the art community moving from city to city with artists battling each other on a very specific concept. For the Melbourne date, 2 teams of 2 local artists will battle on stage, whilst 2 judges and the crowd will crown the winning team.

This year we are showcasing local talent. The line up is proudly “Made in Melbourne”, a one of a kind event showcasing Melbourne as a creative and vibrant city:

Secret Walls will happen on stage outside. 2 teams of 2 artists will be battling for 90mins. Callum Preston, last year winner will be back again teaming up with Cassie Stevens. They will be facing Glen Downey and Mitch Walder.

Simp Le Sime AKA Stickersime and Union Heights, in collaboration with Ironlak have curated 6 artists to paint live during the day. Steve CrossHeesco, Porno, Dr Dose, Lingerid and Shem.

With a bunch of sweet sponsors such as Kraken, Absolut and Bodriggy Brewing Co.StickersimeUnion Heights and IronlakBao pop up kitchen, 3 sound systems in/out, drinks available in/out, and 13 hours of partying on a Saturday from midday there is no reason not to wake up at some point the next day and proclaim “That was AWESOME”.
