I AM D, former winner of the Hilltop Hoods initiative, is truly committed to further developing the sound of hip hop here in Australia and has become an integral part of building the new scene in Brisbane.

His new EP 'M.N.T.N.S (Mirrors Never Told Nice Stories)' is proof that he is taking Australian Hip Hop to the next level. With production all from fellow Brisbane native James Angus aka Uncle Juice I AM D has created a piece of work that is on the cusp of the new wave of Hip Hop in Australia.

With stellar production and intricate rhymes the EP also illustrates a very personal journey for D from illness to heart break to triumph.
